Who We Are

hree Rivers Area Mentoring (TRAM) is a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization that began in 1994. Our primary focus is to match school-aged youth/mentees with adult or high school age volunteers/mentors. As our mission statement states, “through one-to-one mentor/student relationships, TRAM strives to empower young people to pursue excellence, productivity and responsibility; to succeed in school, friend and family relationships; and to combat substance abuse and violence.” Our overall goal is to encourage youth to see the value of education, graduate from high school, and to pursue further education necessary for their chosen vocation/occupation.

What We Do

TRAM After-School Program is for students in 2nd through 8th grade and meets after school Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Our after-school program focuses on helping our students learn more about themselves, and how they can contribute to the world around them. We utilize focused homework and academic help on a daily basis. Our students learn different types of creative arts and receive character education to help them succeed in their classroom and in the community.

The after-school program provides nutritious snacks and incorporates games, hands-on presenters, and field trips in order to promote overall success through a safe after school environment.
