AARP Tax-Aide

Every tax season, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers serve their communities by helping their neighbors complete and file their tax returns free of charge. Since 1968, Tax-Aide has helped over 82 million taxpayers. This year, over 28,300 Tax-Aide volunteers helped to secure over $1.3 billion in total refunds for more than 1.7 million people. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide service is offered nationwide at over 3,600 locations. 

From February 1 through April 15, Tax-Aide volunteers provide free tax preparation services to community members with a special focus on seniors, disabled, and low-income residents. Services are provided at six sites in the greater Kalamazoo area.
