Volunteer: Food Service VolunteerVolunteers- Help the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission prepare and box up meals for the homeless. We serve three meals every day to those in need. Approximate shifts are 6am-8:30am, and 3pm-6pm, every day of the week. Volunteer: Thrift Store VolunteerVolunteers are needed at Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries two thrift stores: Rescued Treasures in Kalamazoo and Simple Treasures in Portage. Both stores are open from 10am-5pm Monday-Friday, and 10am-3pm on Saturdays. Duties include, but are not limited to: sorting and receiving donated items such as clothes or shoes, organizing clothing racks on the sales floor, and assisting staff with customer service, such as greeting customers and helping them to find what they are looking for.
