The KLC is seeking individuals to serve as volunteers for the 11th Kalamazoo Scrabble Fest. Each year, players come together for a great day of gaming to benefit adult literacy. Volunteer roles include word judges, time keepers, and score runners. Volunteers receive a tshirt, and delicious hors d'oeuvres. The event is Saturday, August 6, 12:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Radisson. There will be a volunteer orientation on Thursday, August 4, 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the KLC, 420 E. Alcott St. Kalamazoo, 49001. Volunteering for Scrabble Fest is a fun and easy way to support adult literacy in Kalamazoo County!
