Make a Difference at the Back to School Bash!  

This year, we are proud to bring together a powerful community partnership including Family Health Center, The Kalamazoo Promise, Western Michigan University (WMU), Kalamazoo Valley (KVCC), and Kalamazoo Public Schools (KPS) to support the health, education, and future success of our students. Join us at the Back to School Bash and help ensure that at-risk children have a successful start to the school year. Since 2009, this event has provided over 2,000 children each year with vital Well Child Exams and necessary immunizations.  

Our goal is simple: to ensure every student is healthy, prepared, and excited to start the new school year while inspiring them to begin thinking about college, career opportunities, and their long-term future. As a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in this highly anticipated event. Families plan ahead and register for the free event, which combines the fun of a mini-carnival and a block party. We provide FREE food, games, rides, activities, and prizes – and give away over 1,500 backpacks filled with school supplies! B2SB is an EXTREME day of FUN outside the norm for the children we serve. We hope you will join us! Join us in creating an unforgettable experience for these deserving children.
