Volunteer: Volunteers for VITA income tax programThe Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program is an IRS sponsored program to help moderate to low income and limited English proficient taxpayers prepare their income taxes for free. Positions available: Tax Preparer, Greeter, Appointment Scheduler/Intake Specialist, Interpreter. Tax Preparer trainings are offered November - Jan 15 and May-June. Greeters, Appointment Schedulers, Intake Specialists and Interpreters can join at any time. No experience needed-all IRS certified training will be provided.
