Volunteer: Board TreasurerThis necessary position is required for our continued compliance with IRS and the State of Michigan requirements. We are in our second year of existence and excited to see the interest in our organization fire up (in the Year of the Fire Horse). As a fledgling non-profit, we are in need of someone who is familiar with the requirements to remain compliant, and would appreciate someone who is familiar with the fundraising platforms available to help us meet our goals of providing services for the community in need, not necessarily only those who can afford to pay. Our current accounting is being done in Excel. It would be ideal to have an experienced Treasurer who has the capacity to grow with us and help us grow.
