Kalamazoo Coalition for the Unhoused

We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit working to bring individuals and organizations together to coordinate efforts, increase impact, and empower change among the unhoused population in in the Kalamazoo area. We have three committees designed to concentrate efforts; The Resource Committee, The Advocacy Committee, & The Transitional Housing Committee. We are a volunteer run and donation based organization.

The Community Warming Shelter offers a place for the unhoused to take a shower, get a nice meal, access tangible resources, and connect with local supportive agencies. This is completely volunteer run – we need your help! Shifts are divided into two; 11:30AM-2PM, 2PM-5PM. Volunteers will do things such as pass out resources, serve food, clean up tables, and sort donations.
