Who We Are
Mission: To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray, abandoned, and feral cats, promoting responsible pet ownership, and reducing feline overpopulation through spay/neuter efforts.
Companion Cats, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need across South Central Michigan. The organization focuses on providing a safe, loving environment for abandoned, stray, and feral cats while also working to reduce the overpopulation of cats through spay/neuter programs and community outreach. Companion Cats, Inc. aims to ensure every cat receives the care and attention they deserve and ultimately finds a forever home.
What We Do
Companion Cats, Inc. offers a range of services to support the well-being of cats in need. These services include a foster-based rescue program where cats are provided shelter, medical care, and socialization before being placed for adoption. The organization offers a trap-neuter-return (TNR) program for feral cats to help control the population and reduce the number of stray animals in the community. Additionally, Companion Cats, Inc. provides low-cost spay and neuter resources and runs adoption events to connect potential cat owners with available pets. Through these programs, the organization works to improve the lives of cats while fostering a compassionate, cat-friendly community.
