Who We Are
Mission: To provide individualized music instruction in a positive and supportive atmosphere to all persons regardless of age, ability, or income.
Crescendo Academy of Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with funding support from major foundations, arts organizations, businesses and individual donors. It strives to make music accessible to all through need-based scholarships and an instrument loan program. The Academy provides services to all children and adults without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, weight, height, handicap, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran or marital status.
Crescendo Academy of Music is the premier music school in Kalamazoo, offering private lessons, group lessons, theory classes, and more. Through effective, personalized instruction, Crescendo helps everyone, young and old, develop the musical skills they need, no matter the skill level. By providing accessibility to the world of music, we bring people together and help them achieve their musical goals.
