Event Information:
For this year's Stand Against Racism (SAR), YWCA Kalamazoo is hosting a 12-hour petition drive in an effort to successfully garner 6,000 signatures to support the Michigan Right to Reproductive Freedom For All (RRFA) ballot initiative!
This ballot initiative is aimed at expanding access to comprehensive reproductive health care across Michigan. This event will mobilize voters in Kalamazoo County to fight back against restrictions on reproductive health care- especially abortion - to ensure individuals' health care decisions remain their own!
The 12-hour petition drive will take place from 8 AM to 8 PM and will consist of shifts, from both volunteers and staff, to support signature gathering for the RFFA ballot initiative.
- Shift 1: 8 AM to 11 AM
- Shift 2: 11 AM to 2 PM
- Shift 3: 2 PM to 5 PM
- Shift 4: 5 PM to 8 PM
