As a Volunteer Driver you could assist low income individuals attend medical, substance abuse and counseling appointments, assist parents visit with children that have transportation barriers.
Volunteer Drivers do not receive a wage; however they will receive the state reimbursement rate is $.56 per mile and or meals for long trips (that qualify for meal reimbursement). Background check required for driving record and insurance.
