The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program is an IRS sponsored program to help moderate to low income and limited English proficient taxpayers prepare their income taxes for free.
Positions available: Tax Preparer, Greeter, Appointment Scheduler/Intake Specialist, Interpreter.
Tax Preparer trainings are offered November - Jan 15 and May-June.
Greeters, Appointment Schedulers, Intake Specialists and Interpreters can join at any time.
No experience needed-all IRS certified training will be provided. There are flexible schedules, dates and times for volunteering to fit everyone's schedule. Help those in your community that need it the most.
