Our volunteers are essential to what we do at Centrica Care Navigators, and they are nothing less than extraordinary in their generosity and care. As a Centrica volunteer, you do not provide medicine or physical care as the physicians, nurses, and aides do. You can brighten someone’s day and help ease their suffering simply by being present, holding a hand, and lending an ear. We will help match you with assignments that fit your unique skills, interests, and schedule. We also provide extensive training and support, so you feel prepared and confident for your role.
Hospice services are flexible and driven by each client’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Clients may be living in their private residence, a community care facility, or in one of our agency-operated hospice sites. Volunteers have an array of opportunities including:
